What is Ultherapy Technology?
Ultherapy uses micro-focused ultrasound (MFU) to provide non-invasive treatment while still targeting the deep tissue layers under the skin, especially the SMAS layer (superficial musculoaponeurotic system). Traditionally, when we wanted to address sagging and laxity, we would often resort to surgical methods to lift and tighten the layers. With the advanced Ultherapy method, patients no longer need to undergo invasive procedures, yet they can achieve similar results. This means that patients do not have to spend time recovering from Ultherapy.
The Collagen Stimulation Mechanism of Ultherapy
After applying heat to the treatment areas, thermal coagulation points (TCPs) are formed in the epidermis and dermis, creating secondary healing responses that stimulate restructuring and collagen production, resulting in optimal skin tightening effects. Immediately after the procedure, clients can see results, and after six months, as the body's healing process completes, the results will be at their best and can last from 1 to 2 years, depending on the individual’s condition.
Special Advantages of Ultherapy Technology
- Depth of Action:
- Precise micro-focused heating at a specific depth.
- Treats much deeper beneath the skin compared to lasers and RF (radiofrequency).
- Does not affect the surface of the skin.
Indicated Treatment Areas
Ultherapy technology is suitable for lifting treatment in areas such as: the chest, neck, lower face, upper face, and brow arch.
